Non-local families are restricted from buying 1 apartment in Beijing. If you already have a house in Beijing, you cannot apply for buying a house in this city again. The purchase of housing needs to meet one of the following conditions:

Social insurance: those who have paid social insurance continuously for more than 60 months in this city (the longest payment is not more than 3 months) and hold valid residence certificate in this city can apply for purchasing 1 house. These two conditions must be met at the same time.

Personal income tax: you can apply to buy 1 house if you have paid personal income tax for more than 60 months (not more than 3 months at the longest) and hold a valid residence certificate in this city. These two conditions must be met at the same time.

Note: continuous payment of personal income tax in this city for more than 60 months (inclusive) means that taxpayers who pay taxes according to "income from wages and salaries" have been paying personal income tax in this city for 60 months since the last month of the reporting month; Taxpayers who pay taxes according to the "income from production and operation of individual industrial and commercial households" shall pay personal income tax continuously in this Municipality for 60 months (or 20 quarters) according to the applicable tax payment period from the last month (or last quarter) of the reporting month.
