The social security card payment password reset method is as follows:

1, the social security card password is modified at the site outlets.

Use my original ID card and social security card (both the new card and the old card belong to the same issuing bank, and the old card will be destroyed by the issuing bank, otherwise you only need to bring a new card), and you need to set two account passwords when handling. Social security card contains two accounts, so there are two corresponding passwords, namely, the consumption password of medical account and financial account. When activated, it needs to be set by the insured and consumed by password.

2. Change the social security card password by phone.

Cardholders can change their personal passwords by calling the labor security service telephone number 12333. The specific operation process is as follows:

(1) Call the fixed telephone 12333, and press "5" according to the voice prompt after entering the main flow to enter the social security card encryption loss reporting column;

(2) Press "1" to enter the encryption function, enter the "8" bit after the social security card number according to the voice prompt, and submit;

(3) Enter the original password according to the voice prompt. If your original password is 123456, the voice will prompt you to enter your ID number. If the ID number entered is correct, the voice will prompt you to enter a new password for confirmation. Enter the new password again and submit it. After the new passwords entered twice are consistent, the password was successfully modified.

3. Modify the social security card password on the touch screen.

(1) After opening the homepage of the local labor security information inquiry system on the touch screen, select the social security card button, enter the social security card application login page, insert the social security card, enter the social security card password through the number keys on the touch screen, and click the OK button.

(2) After logging in successfully, select and click Modify Card Password. If you need to modify the social security card password, click the card password modification button after login to enter the password modification page. After confirming the new password, click the confirm button.

4. Modify the social security card password in the social security agency.

The cardholder can ask the staff to handle it at the window of the local social security agency. To change the password, he must provide a valid ID card and the original password, and the password should be entered by himself.
