It works. Maternity insurance has been in existence for six months, but there will be some discounts. According to official website, Yunnan Social Security Bureau, it can be reimbursed after six months of continuous payment. The insured has continuously paid the basic medical insurance premium for more than 6 months (inclusive) on the date of production, and paid the medical insurance premium on time one month before giving birth. Insured persons who have paid basic medical insurance premiums for less than 6 months in a row cannot enjoy maternity medical treatment. If the basic medical insurance premium has been paid continuously for less than 6 months 12 months, it will be paid at 30% of the fixed standard. If the basic medical insurance premium has been paid continuously for more than 12 months, it will be paid at 100% of the fixed standard.
