After the social security card is activated, you need to go to the bank to activate it. The reason for this is the following：

1. Although the social security card has a financial account, this financial account is different from the medical insurance account. It can only be used after the bank counter is activated. That is to say, although the obtained social security card has a bank card number, it is currently inactive and cannot be used directly (before activation, this card can only be accessed but not accessed, that is, all other functions cannot be used);

2. To activate other functions of the financial account, I need to bring my social security card and the original ID card, activate it at a specific branch of the bank on the card, and set the password. After activating the account, I can use it as a bank card normally. So if you want to use the financial function of the social security card, remember to activate it at the corresponding bank first.
