Going to school in Beijing requires both parents to have a social security payment record of more than one year.

Those who do not have a Beijing hukou and work residence permit must go through five certificates. The "five certificates" include residence (real estate or rental), temporary residence permit, work contract, social security, and proof of no guardian, which are audited by the township government in the place of residence.

Among the five certificates, the real estate license is the most important, and most students who are slightly short of real estate licenses and other materials finally passed. The second is social security. The social security payment certificate can be printed online or on site.
