Flexible employment personnel social security application process
1. Flexibly employed persons holding the Employee Pension Insurance Handbook and the Mobility Social Insurance Relationship Transfer Form within the Urban Employee Co-ordination Scope will go to the municipal or district social security agency where they were registered for insurance to apply for the transfer formalities;
2. The month in which they apply for the transfer formalities will still be required to pay the contributions in accordance with the method for flexibly employed persons, and they will go to the bank branch to fill out the Application for Contribution Form before transferring. Before the transfer procedure, go to the bank branch, fill in the "Application for Contribution" and apply for immediate withholding of the contributions due for the month and real-time payment to the account;
3. The social security agency will review the contributions and then stamp on the "Transfer Sheet";
4. The employee will hand over the "Employee's Pension Insurance Handbook" and the "Transfer Sheet" to the human resources department of the employing unit, so that it can renew the insurance procedure.
Materials for applying for social security:
1, valid proof of identity (second-generation ID card, temporary ID card or other valid documents);
2, valid proof of residence, such as the household register of the person, the residence permit or the temporary residence permit;
3, the completed "Urban and Rural Residents' Social Medical Insurance Participation Registration Form" or the "Employee's Social Medical Insurance Participation Registration Form
4, a one-inch color photo of the front without a crown;
5, proof of social security relationship of the employee issued by the work unit.

Individuals who have participated in the basic medical insurance for employees and whose accumulated contributions have reached the number of years stipulated by the state when they reach the legal retirement age shall no longer pay the basic medical insurance premiums after their retirement, and they shall enjoy the basic medical insurance benefits in accordance with the provisions of the state; and those who have not reached the number of years stipulated by the state may pay the premiums up to the number of years stipulated by the state.
