Don't military families have to buy social security?

China Veterans' Network is organized as follows. Soldiers and their families do not need to buy traffic accident insurance by themselves. Notice on adjusting and perfecting military traffic accident insurance (excerpt).

I. Insurance Object and Scope

If a train (including subway, light rail), ship and other civil transport vehicles have a traffic accident and cause death or disability, the insurance company will pay the traffic accident insurance money in one lump sum.

Second, the source of insurance premium

The military unified the funds needed to purchase traffic accident insurance for soldiers and their families and included them in the military budget. Soldiers and their families do not need to buy traffic accident insurance when they take civil transportation.

Active servicemen, civilian servicemen, regular military workers and retired servicemen are not reimbursed for traffic accident insurance premiums.

The expenses for military personnel and their families to purchase traffic accident insurance separately shall be borne by individuals, and the compensation standard shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions of commercial insurance companies.
