Non-Beijing nationals can apply for passports in Beijing under the following three circumstances:

1. Worked in Beijing for more than half a year.

2. Minors who rely on their parents or parents over 60 years old who rely on their children meet the conditions of 1.

3. Students registered with the Ministry of Education can apply for passports in Beijing with their school registration certificates.

Beijing hukou only needs an ID card to apply for a passport in Beijing;

Non-Beijing nationals are required to provide the following materials when applying for passports in Beijing:

1. ID card

2. Household registration book and photocopy

3. I and my temporary residence permit or residence permit for taking refuge in Beijing.

4. The tax payment and social security certificate of myself or the asylum-seekers in Beijing.
