Generally speaking, the reimbursement process is relatively simple, but it needs to be clear that the second-grade social security paid by non-Shenzhen household registration cannot participate in off-site settlement, that is to say, the expenses of off-site childbirth cannot be reimbursed, unless there are special circumstances, it is necessary to apply for a referral certificate in Shenzhen, make a referral record, and then use the Shenzhen social security card for off-site settlement, and the medical insurance can be reimbursed immediately when leaving the hospital.

Non-local permanent residents who hold the Shenzhen Residence Permit 16 years old, have not reached the statutory retirement age, and are not attending school can apply for comprehensive medical insurance, and pay medical insurance premiums on a monthly basis according to the average monthly salary of employees in this city in the previous year, of which the basic medical insurance premium is paid at 7.8% of the base payment, the local supplementary medical insurance premium is paid at 0.2% of the base payment, and the maternity medical insurance premium is paid at 0.5% of the base payment;

After paying medical insurance premiums in full and on time, the medical expenses incurred in the designated medical institutions and retail pharmacies in this city can enjoy comprehensive medical insurance and maternity medical insurance benefits.

Note: Starting from July this year 1, Shenzhen Labor and Social Security Bureau will calculate and pay the "average monthly salary of employees in the previous year" in the social insurance base and treatment according to 362 1 yuan.
