Article 8 Procedures for the examination and approval of social security card registration: (1) When the provincial human resources and social security department issues social security cards, it is required to submit the application materials to the Office of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security Informatization Leading Group for examination and approval; (2) When the municipal human resources and social security department issues social security cards, it is necessary to submit the application materials to the provincial human resources and social security department for preliminary examination. After passing the preliminary examination, it shall be reported to the Office of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security Informatization Leading Group for review. (3) With the approval of the Office of the Information Leading Group of Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the identification numbers of the social security card issuers are uniformly distributed to the areas that have approved the issuance of social security cards, and shall be filed with the National IC Card Registration Center in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state.
