Parents rely on children's health insurance latest regulations

Elderly people rely on their children, health insurance need to apply for transfer procedures.

To transfer in from one place to another within the province, the insured person should bring a valid ID card and go to the social security organization in the place of transfer to apply for the transfer of health insurance; the social security organization in the place of transfer should issue a voucher for participation in the insurance scheme; the medical insurance bureau in the place of transfer should issue a letter of continuity for the transfer of the basic health insurance scheme; and the letter of contact will be sent to the other social security organization by mail. To transfer out of a different place within the province, the insured person should bring along the electronic voucher of medical insurance or a valid ID card or social security card, and go to the social security transfer office window of each district or county (city) to handle the transfer procedures.

To transfer out of a province, the person in charge of the transfer will bring the Basic Medical Insurance Participation and Payment Certificate issued by the social security organization in the place of transfer, and a copy of the participant's ID card, and then go to the window of Social Insurance Transfer in the Municipal Human Resource and Social Security Bureau's Public Affairs Hall to go through the procedures of transferring the medical insurance. For inter-provincial transfer, the participant or the agent of the organization should bring the original ID card or a copy of the ID card of the participant, fill out the "Change of Information Form of Medical Insurance" at the Municipal Social Security Bureau, and then submit it to the Social Security Bureau of the place where the transfer is to take place.

Medicare can be handled normally, generally this type of defection is not too easy to handle, if the parents have not yet retired, that after the transfer of domicile, you can apply for pension and health insurance retirement benefits in the local. If you have reached the legal retirement age when the accumulated contributions to reach the national regulations for a period of years, you can no longer pay the basic medical insurance premiums after retirement. Those who have not yet reached the nationally stipulated number of years may contribute until the nationally stipulated number of years. If an individual is employed across the integrated region, his/her basic medical insurance relationship will be transferred with his/her own transfer, and his/her contribution period will be cumulative.
