2. Activation at the social security office

If you are applying for a new social security card, you can ask the staff at the social security office to activate your card when you receive it.

3. Activate by phone

If you don't have the time to go out, you can also activate your card by calling the social security hotline and following the voice prompts, or by pressing "0" to be transferred to a human service.
