Can I get social security on my Canadian passport?

Canadian passport can apply for social security. Generally speaking, if a foreigner wants to participate in China's social security system, he or she must firstly meet the age requirement of not having reached the legal retirement age in China (i.e., 60 years old for men and 50 years old for women); secondly, he or she must be employed by a company; and lastly, he or she must apply for a foreigner's employment license at the local employment department, and he or she will be able to participate in the system only if the above conditions are met.

1. Through the online filing system for logging on to the website of the Social Security Administration of the enterprise online filing.

2. Print the "enterprise employees to participate in social insurance personal information registration/stop payment/transfer/insurance changes/resumption of participation/wage change application", attached to the application information to the front desk of the collection for processing.
