How to transfer social security and medical insurance in the province

Take the proof materials to the social security agency for proof.

Bring my ID card, household registration book, and the certificate of termination of the labor contract with the original unit, and go to the local social security agency to apply for the insurance certificate.

Apply to the social security agency in the new workplace for the transfer of social security relations.

After taking office in the new unit, the new unit shall handle the social security relationship and payment according to regulations.

When applying, you need to issue the insurance certificate of the original work unit and fill in the application form for renewal of insurance.

The new social security institutions for review.

The new social security agency will review whether the renewal application form meets the conditions for renewal.

If so, the new social security agency will send an admission notice to the social security agency in the original place of work.

If not, the social security agency will explain the reasons and issue a written explanation.

The original work unit for review.

After receiving the admission notice, the original work unit will examine and issue it locally. If there is no arrears, transfer the funds, and send the transfer and continuation information table of the old-age insurance relationship to the social security institution where the new unit is located, and terminate the social security relationship at the original place of work.

It is generally required to be completed within 15 working days.

After examination and approval, the renewal formalities shall be handled in the new social security institution.

After receiving the continuation information form, the new workplace will confirm that the funds have arrived, and will go through the continuation procedures soon, and inform it to bring the required materials such as the insurance manual to the agency for confirmation.
