All enterprises, institutions, retirees and living allowance personnel who receive social security pensions shall be certified for survival once a year. Generally, it is certified once a year. The local certification time is set by each province, city (region) independently, and the certification time for off-site residence is from April 1 day to June 25th every year (since the 25th to the end of each month is the settlement period for social security increase or decrease, the business after 25th is counted as the next month).

In order to facilitate the certification of retirees, some places set the annual certification time of retirees' survival as the month of their birthdays, which can be extended by 1-2 months. There are also some provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, and most counties and cities will set the local certification period from April to June in order to cooperate with remote certification.
