Social security can be transferred when the account is transferred. (2) The social security agency of the newly insured place shall, within 15 working days, review the application for transfer and continuation, send an acceptance letter to the social security agency where the insured person's original basic old-age insurance relationship is located, and provide relevant information; Do not meet the transfer conditions, make a written explanation to the applicant or the insured. (3) The social security agency where the original basic old-age insurance relationship is located shall handle all the transfer and connection procedures within 15 working days after receiving the acceptance letter. (4) After the new insurance agency receives the basic old-age insurance relationship and funds transferred by the social security agency where the original basic old-age insurance relationship of the insured person is located, it shall complete the relevant procedures within 15 working days, and notify the employer or the insured person of the confirmation in time. (5) Accumulated calculation of the payment period of the old-age insurance, and there is a gap in the middle, which can be supplemented or not.
Legal objectivity:
Article 58 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the employing unit shall, within 30 days from the date of employment, apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for employees.
