Is it the same for individuals to pay social security and units to enjoy benefits?

There are differences.

Individuals pay social security, only pension insurance and medical insurance. Medical insurance is also the medical insurance for urban workers, and the hospitalization ratio is the same. Most of the medical insurance is provided by individuals in cities and cannot be used for outpatient service (there is no personal account, Wuhan 15 yuan/month).

The social security handled by the unit is a combination of five insurances, as well as maternity, unemployment and work-related injury insurance. Medical insurance has a personal account, which is used for outpatient or pharmacy credit card payment.

In addition, individuals who apply for social security can only participate if they have a local urban hukou within the age requirement, and there is no hukou requirement for handling through the unit.
