The main responsibilities of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of the Extended Data Fresh Zone are:

(a) to implement the principles, policies, laws and regulations on human resources and social security, formulate plans and measures for the development of human resources and social security in this region, and organize their implementation, supervision and inspection.

(2) To formulate and organize the implementation of the local human resources market development plan, human resources flow plan and relevant regulations, be responsible for the examination and approval of human resources service institutions within their authority, establish a unified and standardized human resources market, and promote the rational flow and effective allocation of human resources.

(5) To formulate and supervise the implementation of social security development plans and annual plans, participate in the preparation of the draft budget and final accounts of social insurance funds, be responsible for the supervision and declaration of social insurance funds, co-ordinate the establishment of a social insurance system covering urban and rural areas, be responsible for the organization, implementation, supervision and inspection of policies such as old-age insurance, unemployment insurance, industrial injury insurance, medical insurance and maternity insurance, medical insurance and old-age insurance for urban and rural residents, and carry out work-related injury identification in this area according to law.
