First, why do you want to participate in work-related injury insurance for over-age people?

With the acceleration of population aging, the phenomenon of labor shortage has become increasingly prominent. In order to solve the employment problem, some organs, enterprises and institutions in our region, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, have used people over the statutory retirement age (referred to as over-age personnel). According to preliminary statistics, there are about 6.5438+0.5 million people. In the past, employers used over-age workers but could not participate in work-related injury insurance for them. Therefore, conflicts often occurred with employers because of compensation after work-related accidents, and conflicts easily occurred frequently. At present, the relevant policies issued by the Provincial People's Social Welfare Department and the District People's Social Welfare Bureau on the participation of over-age workers in work-related injury insurance have achieved full coverage of the work-related injury insurance system in our district, which can effectively ensure that over-age workers receive medical treatment and economic compensation after being injured by accidents at work, and disperse the risk of work-related injuries of employers.

III. Scope and Conditions of Insurance

Scope: State organs, enterprises, institutions, social organizations, private non-enterprise units, foundations, law firms, accounting firms and other organizations and individual industrial and commercial households with employees (hereinafter referred to as employers) within their respective administrative areas.

Conditions:

"Provincial documents": the employer recruits employees who have reached or exceeded the statutory retirement age but are under 65 years of age and have not gone through retirement procedures (not enjoying the basic retirement pension); Technical colleges and secondary vocational schools that have reached the age of 16 and have implemented full-time academic education will arrange semester internships in a centralized and unified manner according to laws, regulations and relevant state regulations.

District Documents: Category I: Over-age employees (that is, men over 60 years old and women over 50 years old) employed by employers in this district, with the maximum age of 75 years old (whether enjoying basic retirement pension or not). Category II: Employers can take this insurance as supplementary insurance for working-age workers who have participated in industrial injury insurance of social security administrative departments.

Fourth, insurance payment.

Insurance according to the "provincial documents": the employer shall go through the insurance registration formalities with the district social insurance agency with the employment agreement or tripartite internship agreement signed with the over-age personnel, the insurance roster, and the commitment letter for employees and interns in Jiangsu Province who have exceeded the statutory retirement age to participate in work-related injury insurance. The payment rate shall be implemented according to the employer's rate standard.

The natural month is the settlement period for the collection of work-related injury insurance premiums for over-age employees, and the amount of work-related injury insurance premiums is the product of the actual total labor remuneration of over-age employees multiplied by the unit payment rate.

Interns' work-related injury insurance premiums shall be settled during the internship agreement period, and shall be declared and collected at one time after going through the registration formalities. The amount of work-related injury insurance premium is the product of the actual total labor remuneration of interns multiplied by the unit payment rate during the internship agreement period of the employer.

Insurance according to the "district documents": The employer shall insure the over-age personnel recruited by Jiangdu Branch of China Life Insurance Company through public bidding.

The employer shall pay the insurance premium in the real-name registration system on an annual basis, with the insurance period of 1 year, starting from 0: 00 the next day of insurance coverage to 24: 00 on the agreed termination date; In case of personnel changes during the insurance period, the employing unit shall make up the roster for commercial insurance institutions within 24 hours; Commercial insurance institutions collect premiums by themselves, and verify the information of insured persons and the amount of premiums.

The premium is based on the lower limit of the basic old-age insurance payment wage for employees of enterprises in our district at the time of enrollment (the current standard is 3368 yuan); The payment rates are classified according to the degree of industrial injury risk in different industries, which are divided into one to four categories and five to eight categories according to the industrial injury insurance risk classification table, and are collected at the rates of 1.6%(647 yuan/person-year) and 1.8%(728 yuan/person-year) respectively.

Insure according to the "provincial documents": if the over-age employees and interns suffer from work-related injuries or occupational diseases during the insurance period, their work-related injury identification, labor ability appraisal and work-related injury insurance benefits shall be implemented with reference to the relevant provisions of the Regulations on Work-related Injury Insurance and the Measures for Implementing the Regulations on Work-related Injury Insurance in Jiangsu Province.

Insurance according to the "District Document": If the insured suffers an accident injury due to work and is recognized as a work-related injury or regarded as a work-related injury by the social insurance administrative department, or if the person who has enjoyed the old-age insurance benefits is recognized as a work-related injury or regarded as a work-related injury, the commercial insurance institution will pay the following protection benefits to the employer:

(1) Medical expenses for work-related injuries

(2) Hospitalization allowance for work-related injuries: According to the actual hospitalization days, 50 yuan is given a daily hospitalization allowance, with the maximum of 180 days per year.

(3) One-time compensation for work-related death: the insured pays 500,000 yuan in one lump sum (including all relevant compensation for work-related death).
