The basic medical insurance premium for medical insurance for urban employees shall be paid jointly by the employer and the employees. The basic medical insurance fund consists of overall funds and individual accounts. The basic medical insurance premiums paid by individual employees are all included in individual accounts. The basic medical insurance premium paid by the employer is divided into two parts, one part is used to establish the overall fund, and the other part is included in the personal account. To apply for a medical insurance card, you need the following information:

Employees-free individual industrial and commercial households who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time employees who do not participate in social insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration.
