Social security cards and medical insurance cards are collected by local human resources and social security departments. On-the-job personnel shall be handled by the insured unit in a unified manner and receive the certificate from the unit. Flexible employment personnel with valid personal documents and "personal card notice" to the tender acceptance agency to receive.

Article 58 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the employing unit shall, within 30 days from the date of employment, apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for employees.
