What kind of social security system has China established?

China has basically established the largest social security system in the world.

On September 28th, 20021year, the State Council Press Office published a white paper entitled "A Well-off Society in an All-round Way in China".

The white paper points out that China has basically established the largest social security system in the world, including social insurance, social assistance, social welfare and social preferential treatment, and is moving towards the goal of full coverage, basic protection, multi-level and sustainable development.

By the end of June, 20021,the number of people participating in basic old-age insurance, unemployment insurance and work-related injury insurance reached10/40,000, 222 million and 274 million respectively, and the coverage of basic medical insurance exceeded 65,438.03 million.

Maternity insurance covers all employers and employees according to law.

Housing security has been continuously strengthened, and more than 80 million sets of various types of affordable housing and sheds have been built, helping more than 200 million people in need to improve their housing conditions. Low-income and low-income families with housing difficulties have basically achieved full protection, and the housing conditions of low-and middle-income families have been effectively improved.
