Legal analysis: (1) Ensure the personal basic information is correct. The employer can inquire personal basic information through the online declaration system of human resources and social security in XX City or the business window of social insurance agencies; Non-on-the-job personnel bring the original and copy of their valid ID cards to the streets (towns) under their jurisdiction to check their basic personal information. (2) Obtain a social security card. On-the-job personnel (students) can be collected by the unit (school); Non-on-the-job personnel can get it from the streets (towns) in their respective jurisdictions. (3) Open a social security card. After receiving the social security card, the insured person will open a social security card at the corresponding bank window with the original social security card and valid identity documents, and minors will be handled by the guardian with the original social security card, valid identity documents of the guardian and the original household registration book.

Legal basis: Article 70 of the Labor Law of People's Republic of China (PRC). The state develops social insurance, establishes a social insurance system and a social insurance fund, so that workers can get help and compensation in cases of old age, illness, work injury, unemployment and maternity.
