The proportion of individuals and units paying social security is: 1. Basic old-age insurance for employees: 20% for units and 8% for individuals; 2. Basic medical insurance for employees: the unit pays 9% and the individual pays 2%; 3. Unemployment insurance: the unit pays 1.5%, and the individual pays 0.5%; 4. Work-related injury insurance: the unit pays 1%, and the individual does not need to pay; 5. Maternity insurance: the unit pays 1%, and the individual does not need to pay.

Legal objectivity:

Article 12 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the employing unit shall pay the basic old-age insurance premium in proportion to the total wages of its employees as stipulated by the state, and record it in the basic old-age insurance pooling fund.
