How long is the validity period of ICBC social security card?

Legal analysis: the validity period of social security card has the following standards:

1. Age less than 16 years old:

Applicants who apply for a new social security card are under the age of 16 and are valid for 6 years.

2. Age: 16 to 26 years old:

If the applicant of the new social security card is between the ages of 16 and 26, the card is valid for 10 years.

3.26 to 60 years old:

If the applicant is between the ages of 26 and 60, the new social security card will be valid for 20 years.

Over 4.60 years old:

After the cardholder reaches 60 years old, the latest social security card is valid for a long time.

Legal basis: Article 58 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the employer shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for its employees within 30 days from the date of employment. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay.
