New Social Security Policy Delays Retirement

According to the current policy, if you choose to pay social security for urban and rural residents, you will not delay your retirement for the time being and retire at the age of 60.

If it is to pay social security for employees, there is still no delayed retirement policy until this year. If self-employed 43-year-old female employees have social security, the current policy is to retire at the age of 55. Then there will be 13 years until the age of 55, and it is uncertain whether there will be a delayed retirement policy during this period.

However, regardless of whether the retirement age is delayed or not, the amount of monthly pension is still linked to the payment period. Therefore, while you are still young at the age of 42, you must continue to pay social security. At the age of 55, you can pay for 28 years. If it is not delayed, your pension will be much higher than 15 years. If there is a delayed retirement policy, you will continue to pay for two years, and the pension will be higher according to the 30-year payment period.

Article 1 Workers of enterprises and institutions owned by the whole people, party and government organs and mass organizations shall retire if they meet one of the following conditions.

(a) men over 60 years of age, women over 50 years of age, the cumulative length of service of ten years;

(2) Men who have reached the age of 55, women who have reached the age of 45, and have worked for a total of ten years, engaged in underground, high altitude, high temperature, particularly heavy physical labor or other jobs harmful to health;

(3) Men who have reached the age of 50, women who have reached the age of 45, and have accumulated ten years of service are allowed to retire after being certified by the hospital and confirmed by the labor appraisal committee.
