Can two social security cards be merged across provinces?

1. Inter-provincial social security accounts can be merged without affecting your accumulated payment period.

2. When you leave your original job, you can apply to the social security bureau of the insured place with your ID card and social security card, and apply for a payment voucher.

3. After handling the social security payment account in the new work unit, you can apply for the merger of social security accounts in different places with the transfer payment voucher to the social security bureau of the current insured place. The transfer of the merged social security will not affect your accumulated payment period.
