Process of handling social security card:

Step 1: Check personal basic information. Among them, the employer (school) can inquire personal basic information through the online declaration system of human resources and social security in Dalian or to the business window of social insurance agencies; Non-on-the-job personnel hold the original and photocopy of their valid ID cards to inquire about personal basic information in the streets (towns) under their jurisdiction.

Step 2: Get a social security card. On-the-job personnel (students) can be collected by the unit (school); Non-on-the-job personnel can get it from the streets (towns) in their respective jurisdictions.

Step 3: Open a social security card. After receiving the social security card, the insured person will open a social security card at the corresponding bank window with the original social security card and valid identity documents, and minors will be handled by the guardian with the original social security card, valid identity documents of the guardian and the original household registration book.
