Non-local accounts can only be insured by the unit. Foreign hukou needs to establish labor relations with local employers, and employers can handle social security for employees, or those who belong to individual industrial and commercial households can only handle insurance, but not personal insurance.

Employees can use social security cards directly at the social security payment place, which is not directly related to whether employees have local accounts. The following insured persons who participate in the basic medical insurance for urban workers in Guangzhou in the form of employers may apply for long-term medical treatment in different places:
