How to handle social security for children in Nanjing

Newborns can apply for medical insurance as soon as they are born; If it is not handled in time, you can enjoy your mother's medical insurance reimbursement for urban residents within three months; If the expectant mother participates in the new rural cooperative medical system, the newborn can also enjoy the treatment of the new rural cooperative medical system in the year when the mother gave birth, but if the parents still fail to apply for medical insurance for the child in time three months after the birth of the newborn, the medical expenses will not be reimbursed.

Bring all the materials to the social security center where the account is located and go through the corresponding procedures.

1. Take the household registration book to the street labor and social security service center where the household registration is located to handle the insurance payment procedures. Get the registration form of basic medical insurance for urban residents and fill in relevant information. (You can consult the street labor insurance center)

2. The agent brings the original and photocopy of the newborn household registration book and the original and photocopy of the agent's ID card to the social security center to apply for a social security card. The annual payment standard is 40 yuan.

Materials required:

Original account book+copy of the first page of the account book and baby's page, original and copy of the agent's ID card;

Location: Social Security Center where the household registration is located;

Note: Do it after reimbursement. Pick up the card+medical record book 10 working day after registration, and bring the medical insurance card book to see a doctor later.
