You can surrender your insurance if you pay medical insurance.

The medical insurance surrender process is as follows:

1, the unit or I apply for a refund to the medical insurance agency in the insured area, fill in the application form, explain the reasons for applying for a refund and provide relevant supporting materials;

2, by accepting the medical insurance agencies to review the refund application;

3, to meet the conditions, accepted by the medical insurance agencies monthly report to the local human resources and Social Security Bureau and the Finance Bureau for approval;

4. Refunds approved by the local Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and Finance Bureau shall be paid to the applicant unit or individual in a timely manner within the month through a social security card with financial functions or a designated bank account.

The application materials for returning medical insurance are as follows:

1. Original and photocopy of ID card;

2. The original and photocopy of the household registration book and my information page;

3. If an agent is entrusted, the resident identity card of the agent shall also be provided;

4. When the minor goes through the formalities of surrender, the guardian shall bring the original and copy of the household registration book.

To sum up, medical insurance can only refund the part paid by individuals, and the part paid by enterprises cannot be refunded.
