What does social security card blockade mean?

Legal analysis: social security cards are for personal use only. If you accidentally lose your social security card or someone steals it, the Social Security Bureau will seal your card, and you need to take your card to the Social Security Bureau for card sealing procedures.

Legal basis: Article 19 of the Social Security Card of the People's Republic of China. If the social security card is no longer used due to damage, loss, expiration and other reasons, it shall be included in the invalid list. Invalid list should be managed at different levels. The human resources and social security departments in Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and provinces and cities respectively manage the invalid lists of social security cards in the whole country, the whole province and the whole city, and provide inquiry services.
