How do foreigners pay social security in Nanjing?

Pay your social security through your employer. Or, you can look for an affiliated organization and pay the social insurance on behalf of your employer through the affiliated organization.

Social insurance (Social Insurance) is a social and economic system that provides income or compensation for the population that is incapacitated, temporarily out of work, or has suffered a loss due to health reasons.

Its goal is to ensure material and labor reproduction and social stability. The main programs of social insurance include old-age social insurance, medical social insurance, unemployment insurance, work injury insurance, maternity insurance and so on.

Pension insurance: According to the laws, regulations and policies related to social insurance, a contributing organization shall, within 30 days from the date of its establishment, register for social insurance in accordance with the following procedures and apply for pension insurance for its employees.

First of all, apply for social insurance registration at the social insurance agency with the business license (copy), the unified code certificate of the organization with establishment approval, a copy of the legal person's ID card, the roster of employees and the payroll book. After examination, the social insurance agency will issue the social insurance registration documents.
