Whether you pay by yourself or in the name of the company, there are two situations. Individuals pay by themselves according to the nature of household registration. Urban residents can pay social security according to flexible employment, but rural household registration cannot. If the company pays for individuals, it can pay, and there is no distinction between urban and rural hukou.
