1. First of all, it is required that the spouse of a female employee who gives birth in a different place in China must be a foreign household registration and live abroad for a long time.

2. You can apply for an account of one of your spouse or parents.

3. However, you must first fill out the Application Form for Offsite Delivery of Maternity Insurance for Enterprise Employees in Guangzhou (hereinafter referred to as the Application Form for Offsite Delivery).

After being audited by the unit and stamped with the official seal, apply to the social security agency.

4. Medical expenses reimbursement:

The medical expenses of the insured female workers who are allowed to give birth in different places, such as prenatal examination (after pregnancy 16 weeks) and delivery in different places, shall be paid in advance by themselves. Within three months after delivery, the unit shall apply for reimbursement to our bureau with the Application Form for Delivery in Different Places, medical records, diagnosis certificate, medical expense invoice, detailed list of charges, reimbursement form and birth certificate (copy). If the medical expenses incurred are lower than the quota standard, the maternity insurance shall be reimbursed according to the actual expenses, and if it is higher than the quota standard of medical institutions at the same level, it shall be declared according to the quota standard. Medical expenses for prenatal examination in designated medical institutions in this Municipality shall be accounted by medical institutions first, and then declared and settled by medical institutions to our bureau according to the quota of prenatal examination.
