The unit where the male employee works holds the relevant materials and the receipt of maternity medical expenses (original) to the municipal medical insurance agency to apply for maternity medical expenses.

Male workers who have participated in the maternity insurance for urban workers, their unemployed spouses who have not participated in the basic medical insurance and the new rural cooperative medical system, and whose maternity medical expenses meet the relevant policies and regulations, shall enjoy the fixed subsidy for maternity medical expenses with reference to the relevant provisions of the basic medical insurance for urban residents.
