The processing flow of this card is as follows:

1, prepare materials. Need to prepare the newborn's household registration book, original and photocopy of birth medical certificate, and bank debit card (for prepaid expenses and withholding insurance premium). If one parent is registered in Beijing, a copy of the household registration book of one parent is also required. For babies registered in other provinces and cities, if their parents hold a work residence permit in Beijing, they need to move with them, and provide the information page of the work residence permit and the birth medical certificate of the child.

2. Open a bank account. To open a bank account in the name of a newborn, it is recommended to deposit 2,000 yuan as the insurance premium deposit and fill in the withholding application form. A bank card can bind the parent-child relationship, and you can choose to apply for a card face with a baby's head.

3. Apply online. Download the national medical insurance service platform app by mobile phone or log on to the website of Beijing medical insurance service platform by computer to register residents. Select "others handle it", input relevant information, upload the baby's ID photo, and select three designated medical insurance institutions.

4. Community card collection. After completing the above steps, it usually takes 2 working days to wait for approval. After the approval, you can get your baby's social security card from the social security bureau where your account is located.
