How long does it take to report the loss of social security card?

Guangzhou social security (citizen) card is lost or stolen, and it should be reported immediately.

Loss reporting process:

There are two ways to report the loss:

1. Telephone loss reporting: Call the service hotline 12343 to apply for loss reporting, and provide information such as name, citizenship number and contact number.

2. Report the loss in writing: the cardholder must bring the original valid ID card to the designated bank agency service outlets or social security (citizen) card service sub-centers in various districts (county-level cities).

Reissue process:

After reporting the loss by telephone or in writing, the cardholder can go through the formalities of card replacement at the designated bank agency service outlets or social security (citizen) card service sub-centers in various districts (county-level cities) with the original valid ID card. And pay the fee according to each card 20 yuan. Pick up the card after 7 days of replacement.
