Did you join the new company immediately after leaving the original company, without stopping the insurance? If so, you should not need proof of unemployment. But if you stop halfway, you need to apply for an unemployment certificate. Only when you go through the employment formalities with the unemployment certificate can the new unit help you with social security.

If you have to apply for the unemployment certificate, it should belong to the Guangzhou hukou, so go to the neighborhood office where the hukou is located or the social security management agency where the hukou is located and go through the following procedures:

(1) Fill in the unemployment registration form in Guangzhou and submit the household registration book.

(2) Submit the Handbook of Employment and Unemployment in Guangdong Province (if it is not received, it can be declared at the same time).

(3) If the labor relationship is terminated with the employing unit (the employing unit), the certificate of dissolution (termination) of the labor relationship issued by the original unit (the employing unit) shall prevail.

Remarks: It is best to prepare some small-sized photos.
