When will the social security card be issued?

Social security card is an integrated circuit card (IC card) which is uniformly planned by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and issued to the society by local labor and social security departments and used in various business fields of labor and social security. Social security (individual) cards are issued to urban employees, unemployed people and retirees, and social security (employer) cards are issued to employers. Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security said that it will take about five years to make social security cards generally have financial functions. The insured shall carry valid identity documents to the comprehensive service window of social security card of the Municipal Social Security Building to handle relevant formalities. The certificate can be obtained within 30 working days from the date of acceptance. If the insured person needs to use it during the period when he has not received the social security card or the social security card is lost and reissued, he can apply for a temporary social security card. At the time of application, the insured person or agent holds the original and photocopy of valid ID card and 25 yuan deposit to the comprehensive service window of social security card, and fills in the "Shanxi Social Security Card Business Processing Form". To meet the conditions, temporary social security cards will be issued on the spot. The temporary social security card has the function of social security, and its service life is no longer than 3 months. When the use period expires or a formal social security card is received, the temporary social security card shall be returned, the 25 yuan deposit shall be collected, and the temporary social security card shall be cancelled.
