Nanjing residence permit application conditions and process

Nanjing residence permit process is: the applicant carries his own identity card, a recent photo, proof of residence to the residence permit acceptance point to apply, the acceptance point after the initial check print the residence permit application form to the applicant's signature to confirm the acceptance of the receipt issued to be issued.

Applying for a residence permit under Article 9 of the Provisional Regulations on Residence Permits shall be made by submitting to the public security police station in the place of residence, or to a community service organization entrusted by the public security authorities, the person's identity card, the person's photo, and proof of residence, employment, and schooling, among other documents. Minors under 16 years of age, elderly people with limited mobility, and people with disabilities may have their guardians or close relatives apply for a residence permit on their behalf. If the guardian or close relative applies on behalf of the applicant, he/she shall provide the legally valid identity documents of the delegator and the person acting on behalf of the applicant. The applicant and the issuer of the relevant supporting materials shall be responsible for the authenticity and legality of the supporting materials stipulated in this Article. To meet the conditions of the residence permit, the public security organs shall, within 15 days from the date of acceptance of the production and issuance of residence permits; in remote areas, inconvenient transportation areas, or due to special circumstances, can not be produced and issued by the residence permit, the local people's government above the municipal level of the district in the implementation of the measures can be produced and issued time limit for extension of the provisions of the time limit, but after the extension of the longest shall not exceed 30 days.
