How to handle the cancellation of employees' social security?

Legal analysis: the unit shall apply for cancellation of social insurance registration within 30 days from the date of cancellation of registration by the administrative department for industry and commerce. Units that do not need to register with the administrative department for industry and commerce shall apply for cancellation of social insurance registration within 30 days from the date of approval or announcement of termination by the relevant units. If the business license is revoked by the administrative department for industry and commerce, it shall be revoked within 30 days. If it is necessary to transfer the social insurance relationship due to the change of residence or the change of production and business address, it shall apply for cancellation of social insurance registration within 30 days from the date of the above change, and apply for social insurance registration with the social insurance agency where it moves in.

Legal basis: Article 57 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the employing unit shall, within 30 days from its establishment, apply to the local social insurance agency for social insurance registration with its business license, registration certificate or unit seal. The social insurance agency shall, within fifteen days from the date of receiving the application, examine and issue the social insurance registration certificate.
