Can the social security paid by factory workers be refunded?

Legal analysis: the social security card paid by the factory cannot be returned. If the factory has registered the social security for the workers and received the social security card, the social security agency will have relevant records, and the social security card cannot be returned. Workers can only transfer social security or enjoy social security benefits according to law or suspend social security payment, and cannot return their cards.

Legal basis: Article 57 of the Social Insurance Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that the employing unit shall, within 30 days from the date of its establishment, apply to the local social insurance agency for social insurance registration with its business license, registration certificate or unit seal. The social insurance agency shall, within fifteen days from the date of receiving the application, examine and issue the social insurance registration certificate.
