After the insured establishes the basic social security card relationship in the new employment place and pays the fee according to the regulations, the employer or the insured puts forward a written application for the transfer and continuation of the basic social security card relationship to the social security agency in the new employment place.

The social security agency of the newly insured place will review the application for transfer and continuation within 15 working days, issue an acceptance letter to the social security agency where the insured person's original basic social security card relationship is located, provide relevant information that does not meet the conditions for transfer and continuation, and make a written explanation to the applicant or the insured person.

Within 15 working days after receiving the acceptance letter, the social security agency where the original basic social security card is located shall handle all the transfer and connection procedures.

After receiving the basic social security card relationship and funds transferred by the social security agency where the original basic social security card relationship of the insured person is located, the new insurance agency shall complete the relevant procedures within 15 working days, and notify the employer or the insured person of the confirmation in time.

Article 50 of the Labor Contract Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), the employing unit shall issue a certificate of dissolution or termination of the labor contract at the time of dissolution or termination, and go through the formalities for the transfer of the relationship between files and social insurance for the employee within 15 days.

Laborers shall handle the work handover according to the agreement of both parties. If the employing unit should pay economic compensation to the workers in accordance with the relevant provisions of this law, it should pay it when the work handover is completed.

The employing unit shall keep the text of the dissolved or terminated labor contract for at least two years for future reference.
