There is only one social security card, as shown below:

1. Social security card generally refers to the social security card of the People's Republic of China. It is an integrated circuit card issued by human resources and social security departments in various business fields of human resources and social security. Social security card has a wide range of functions;

Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security is responsible for the issuance and application of national social security cards. Provincial and municipal human resources and social security departments are responsible for the issuance and application management of social security cards in the region, and their subordinate information comprehensive management institutions specifically undertake the related affairs of social security card issuance and technical management.

Social security cards are constructed in accordance with the principle of "one card is multi-purpose and universal". The issuance of social security cards in all localities must comply with the requirements of safety, integrity and public welfare, adopt unified national standards and norms, and ensure their use throughout the country.
