How long can I get the social security card after reporting the loss?
1. I report the loss to the employee medical insurance card service bank with my valid certificate, and the street labor security service center accepts the social security card application for 45 working days with the bank's notice of loss reporting and my valid certificate;
2. After receiving the social security card and injecting capital, the amount in the original medical insurance card will be automatically transferred to the social security card without canceling the account. The scope of use of the medical insurance card is as follows:
(1) Scope of use of medical insurance card: When insured employees go to designated hospitals and pharmacies for medical treatment, they can swipe their cards on POS machines with their passwords, but they cannot withdraw cash or transfer money;
(2) Inquire about the balance of medical insurance card: Insured employees can inquire about the balance by telephone, or at the Bank Savings Office in China or the designated hospitals and pharmacies in the urban area. You can also log in to the social security inquiry system online;
(3) Inquiry of medical insurance card transaction: Insured employees can print medical insurance card transaction records, including personal account payment records and consumption records, at China Bank Savings Office with their ID cards and medical insurance requirements. If you have any questions about the transaction records, you can go to the retail business department of Bank of China for enquiry.
(4) Medical insurance card password: If the insured employee needs to change the password, he can change it by phone or bring his/her ID card to China Bank Savings Office. If the insured employee forgets the password, he can report the loss of the original password and change the password with his ID card at China Bank Savings Office;
(5) Keeping medical insurance cards: Insured employees should keep their medical insurance cards well. If you accidentally lose it, please immediately issue a letter of proof to the unit and stamp it at the medical insurance office for confirmation, then report the loss to the Bank Savings Office of China with my ID card and go through the formalities of replacement. After 7 days, they can get a new card.
Legal basis: Article 58 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Social Insurance Law.
The employing unit shall, within 30 days from the date of employment, apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration for its employees. If the social insurance has not been registered, the social insurance agency shall verify the social insurance premium it should pay.
Employees-free individual industrial and commercial households who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time employees who do not participate in social insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees shall apply to the social insurance agency for social insurance registration.
The state establishes a national unified personal social security number. Personal social security number is a citizen's identity number.
