Urban and rural residents with household registration in this Municipality, men aged 16 but under 60, women aged 16 but under 55 (excluding students), who are not included in the establishment management of administrative institutions or do not meet the conditions for participating in the basic old-age insurance in this Municipality, shall participate in the old-age insurance for urban and rural residents.

Conditions for handling endowment insurance for urban workers

Employees who have signed labor contracts with enterprises in this Municipality, urban individual industrial and commercial households and flexible employees can participate in the basic old-age insurance for urban employees.

Conditions for handling new rural endowment insurance

Rural residents with Beijing household registration, aged 16 and not participating in the basic old-age insurance for urban workers in Beijing.
