How to reimburse medical insurance when hospitalized in other provinces?

The reimbursement process of hospitalization medical insurance in other provinces is as follows:

1. According to the medical insurance policy for urban residents, the insured must first register with the medical insurance agency in the insured place for medical treatment in different places. Among them, the medical expenses paid by the insured must be paid in full by the individual first;

2. After discharge 1 month, the insured person can go through the medical expense reimbursement procedures with ID card, residence booklet, residents' medical insurance card, discharge certificate, medical invoice, detailed list of hospitalization expenses, proof of living in different places or temporary residence permit and other materials to the medical insurance agency where the household registration is located;

3. Medical personnel must report to the medical insurance center of the insured place for the record when they are hospitalized. If the insured fails to go through the filing formalities according to the regulations, the medical insurance institution will not reimburse the medical expenses incurred in hospitalization.

Medical insurance processing flow:

1. After receiving the notice from the service point of the social security agency to which the insured belongs (hereinafter referred to as the service point), apply for a social security card at the service point with the original and photocopy of my ID card;

2. The service point personnel provide the individual with the confirmation form of card issuing service, and after the individual confirms the card issuing bank on site, print the application registration form and submit it to the individual for filling in;

3. If you apply for the registration form to print a personal second-generation card photo, the individual may authorize the use of the photo to print the business card without collecting electronic photos; If not, individuals need to take photos of the second generation card in the photo studio that has been included in the electronic photo collection service unit of the social security card in our city (see the column of "Social Security Card" on the social security homepage of our city for the list of photo studios), and paste the photo receipt in the corresponding position of the application registration form;

4 carefully check, supplement or modify the information on the application registration form and return it to the service point within the prescribed time limit;

5. After checking the application registration form and other related materials submitted by individuals, the staff of the service point shall sign for confirmation by both parties;

6. After successfully submitting the application registration form and other related materials at the service point for 30 working days, I will take my original ID card to the social security card of the issuing bank to get the card and go through the card activation procedures.

To sum up, when reimbursing in different places, you must first register with the medical insurance agency in the insured place, and the medical expenses incurred shall be paid in advance by the individual. Some proof materials to be reimbursed after discharge shall be reimbursed by the medical insurance agency where the insured person's household registration is located.

Medical expenses that meet the basic medical insurance drug list, diagnosis and treatment items, medical service facilities standards and emergency rescue shall be paid by the basic medical insurance fund in accordance with state regulations.

Article 29

The medical expenses of the insured shall be paid by the basic medical insurance fund, and shall be directly settled by social insurance agencies, medical institutions and pharmaceutical business units.

The administrative department of social insurance and the administrative department of health shall establish a settlement system for medical expenses in different places to facilitate the insured to enjoy the basic medical insurance benefits.
