Social security can be reimbursed without hospitalization, as follows:

2, the basic medical insurance of the medical insurance card has money, hospitalization insurance is not the money in the medical insurance card, the previous hospitalization insurance. If you are not hospitalized, you will not be reimbursed.

Not included in the scope of payment of the basic medical insurance fund:

1, should be paid from the workers' compensation insurance fund;

2, should be borne by a third party;

3, should be borne by the public **** health;

4, outside the country for medical treatment.

Legal basis: Article 58 of the Social Insurance Law of the People's Republic of China

An employer shall apply for social insurance registration with the social insurance agency for its employees within thirty days from the date of employment. If it fails to register for social insurance, the social insurance administration organization shall approve the social insurance premiums it shall pay.

Individual industrial and commercial households without employees who voluntarily participate in social insurance, part-time employees who do not participate in social insurance with their employers, and other flexibly employed persons shall apply to the social insurance administrative organization for social insurance registration.

The State establishes a nationally unified individual social security number. The personal social security number is a citizen's identity number.
