How to handle the transfer of endowment insurance from unit to individual?

Under normal circumstances, if you change your work unit, the old-age insurance bought by your previous unit can be transferred. The transfer of endowment insurance is mainly divided into two types: transfer in the same city and transfer in different places. Among them, the same city transfer does not need to be transferred. As long as the original unit has not stopped social security, there is no need to go through the formalities. Now the unit can pay the endowment insurance directly with the ID number. The transfer and connection process of endowment insurance in different places is complicated, which is mainly divided into: after the insured establishes the basic endowment insurance relationship in the new employment place, the employer or the insured submits a written application for the transfer and connection of the basic endowment insurance relationship to the social security agency in the new insurance place.

If you are an urban registered resident, you can go to the social security bureau where your household registration is located with your ID card, household registration book, unemployment certificate, social security card and bank passbook to pay for social security. Non-urban household registration residents cannot apply for social security, nor can they pay it themselves, but they can pay social security through employers.

Urban individual industrial and commercial households, flexible employees and laid-off workers from state-owned enterprises participate in the basic old-age insurance in their personal capacity, and pay the basic old-age insurance premium at a rate of 20% based on the average social wage of the whole province last year, all of which shall be borne by themselves.

Treatment process

(1) After the insured establishes the basic old-age insurance relationship in the new employment place and pays the fees according to the regulations, the employer or the insured shall submit a written application for the transfer and continuation of the basic old-age insurance relationship to the social security agency in the new employment place.

(2) The social security agency of the newly insured place shall, within 15 working days, review the application for transfer and continuation, send an acceptance letter to the social security agency where the insured person's original basic old-age insurance relationship is located, and provide relevant information; Do not meet the transfer conditions, make a written explanation to the applicant or the insured.

(3) The social security agency where the original basic old-age insurance relationship is located shall handle all the transfer and connection procedures within 15 working days after receiving the acceptance letter.

(4) After the new insurance agency receives the basic old-age insurance relationship and funds transferred by the social security agency where the original basic old-age insurance relationship of the insured person is located, it shall complete the relevant procedures within 15 working days, and notify the employer or the insured person of the confirmation in time.

(5) Accumulated calculation of the payment period of the old-age insurance, and there is a gap in the middle, which can be supplemented or not.

Individual industrial and commercial households without employees, part-time employees who have not participated in the basic old-age insurance in the employing unit and other flexible employees who have participated in the basic old-age insurance shall pay the basic old-age insurance premiums in accordance with state regulations and record them in the basic old-age insurance pooling fund and individual accounts respectively.
